Lake Tobias

I hate to say it, but summer is slipping by rather quickly! Before the school year officially started, I really wanted to take the kids to Lake Tobias. I lived in central PA all my life, and I've never been there! So, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we made the trip and had a great time! Of course the kids' favorite part was the safari! They enjoyed feeding all kinds of animals!

After the safari ride, we headed over to the petting zoo. I was expecting a lot more animals to pet, but it seemed like it was mostly just goats. Oh well! Mason seemed to enjoy feeding them and it was funny to watch them follow him all around trying to steal his crackers!

We headed to the reptile building next, where the kids (especially Mason) were just thrilled to see and pet a snake! If he would've left Mason hold it, I know he would've! They also pet a baby alligator there, and we watched a reptile show that featured a large alligator, sloth, alligator turtle, frog, and another snake.

They were exhausted from their first trip to Lake Tobias!
